You can add observation times to an unsubmitted evaluation to track how long the evaluation takes to complete.

Add a Start Time

Note: If you are currently viewing the evaluation, skip to step 3.
  1. On the navigation bar, click Evaluations > View evaluations.

  2. Search for the unsubmitted evaluation you want to add observation times to, and click View.

    Note: Unsubmitted evaluations are identified by in the Submitted column. If you don't see the Submitted column, check your settings. For more information, see Customize the View Evaluations Page.

  3. To the right of the evaluation, click .
  4. Refer to the diagram and table below to add a Start Time to the evaluation.

    Process for Adding a Start Time

    Click Add timestamp.

    Enter the Start Time, either by typing the date and time or by clickingto select the date and then clicking to select the time.

    Click Save.

    Click Close to return to the evaluation.

  5. Complete the evaluation.

    Tip: If you don't finish the evaluation in one sitting, you can add another start and end time when you return to complete it by clicking Add timestamp.

Add an End Time

  1. After completing the evaluation, click to add an End Time.
  2. In the Observation Times dialog box, click Add end timestamp.
  3. Do either of the following to enter the End Time:
    • Type the date and time.
    • Click to select the date, and then click  beneath the calendar to select the time.
  4. Click Save, and then click Close.
  5. At the bottom of the evaluation, click Save or Submit.

    Important: If you submit the evaluation, the user can see it in their Teacher Evaluator account and you can't edit the evaluation unless you unsubmit it.
    Note: If you click Submit, a dialog box appears. You can select to Notify the teacher via email and/or Send a copy to the teacher's AdminPlus E-Portfolio. Then, click Submit.
