After you've added an Announcement List block, you can customize the design and layout of that block with a custom template.

To edit the custom template applied to an Announcement List block, do the following:

  1. In Edit mode, click the Announcement List block, and then click Design & Custom Template.

    The Design Editor opens.

  2. In the Design Editor, click .

    The Advanced menu dialog box appears.

  3. In the Advanced menu, in the Custom Template drop-down list, select one of the following:

    Important: Your school may have additional custom templates. Any additional templates appear in the Custom Template list with the three options below.
    Add Announcement List Settings

    (None Selected)

    The standard, single column, Announcement List block.

    Alert Bar

    A compact, single row announcement designed to be applied to the alert area at the top of your site. Only the top announcement is displayed. A notification bell appears when there is more than one announcement.

    Note: You can use this template on any RediSite block area.

    Tiles

    A two column Announcement List block.

  4. After you select a template, click Save.
