View Student Information

You can view the following information about students in your classes:

  • Grades
  • Demographics
  • Contact information
  • Attendance
  • Disciplinary incidents
  • Class schedule
  1. On the Home page, click the class that contains the student you want to view.

  2. On the Section menu, click the Students tab to display the students in the class.

    For more information, see Section Menu. If you don't see the Students tab, your PlusPortals administrator has disabled the feature.

  3. Click the student you want to view.

    Use the arrows to navigate between pages of students.

    The student's grades, scores, attendance, and disciplinary incidents appear in separate panels, which are described in the figure and table below.

    You can filter results by clicking the Filter icon, or change the order of items displayed in a column by clicking the column heading.

Overview of Students Tab Panels
A View grades based on a marking period. Click a class to view details. Click the Filter iconin the appropriate column to filter on specific information.
B View scores recently posted for the student (up to the last 15 postings). Click the Filter iconin the appropriate column to filter on specific information.
C View student contact information.
D View student demographics.
E View the student's class schedule. Click the appropriate rotation from the drop-down list. To print the schedule, click Print Preview and then click Print.
F Depending on the settings selected by your PlusPortals administrator, view the student's daily attendance totals for the school year or the student's period attendance records for selected quarters.
G View disciplinary incidents that are part of the student's permanent record.
H View pending disciplinary incidents. Click the Filter iconin the appropriate column to filter on specific information.
I Click to create a disciplinary incident. For details, see Submit a Disciplinary Incident.

To view incident details, click the View Details icon next to the incident. To edit a disciplinary incident, click the Print icon. To delete a disciplinary incident, click the Delete icon. To submit a disciplinary incident, click the Submit icon.

Once you submit an incident, you cannot edit or delete it.

K Use the arrows to browse incidents, and select how many incidents to display per page in the Incidents per page drop-down list.
