Home Page

When you log in to your teacher portal, the Home page opens. On the Home page, you can manage your profile settings, access your classes, access the Gradebook for any class, and navigate the main portal pages. You can also view school notifications, calendar events, and school resources.

Your PlusPortals administrator determines the Master menu tabs and the panels that display on your Home page.

First Half of Home Page

Upper Section of the Home Page
A On the User menu, click Groups to view the pages and calendars for groups you are in. Click My Schedule to view and print your schedule. Click the arrow next to your name and click Change Role to change your role (for example, from teacher to parent) within PlusPortals. Click Change Password to reset your password or click Settings to edit your profile settings. To access user documentation and videos, click the arrow next to Help. Clicking Logout, logs you out of PlusPortals.

Click tabs on the Master menu to access the Gradebook, manage your calendar, review course requests, and make course recommendations. You can view school announcements, read and send emails and messages, view homework assignments and quizzes, and access school directories.

C Click a class name to open and manage the class. For more information, see Class Page. You can change the class name as it appears here. See Configure Course Display Settings for details.
D Click Gradebook to open the Gradebook for a specific class.

E Click the notification icons to display details on alerts, messages, notifications, and calendar events.

F Review urgent school-wide notifications and alerts.
G View upcoming school and class events. You can filter results by clicking the Filter icon. You can change the order items display in a column by clicking the column heading. You can customize the number of items that display on the page by clicking an option in the Events per page drop-down list. Use the arrows to navigate between pages.
H View general school announcements.

You also can view school announcements, notifications, and alerts by clicking the School Announcements tab on the Master menu.

I View files or links your school shares with staff members. You can filter results by clicking the Filter icon. You can change the order items display in a column by clicking the column heading. You can customize the number of items that display on the page by clicking an option in the Files/Links per page drop-down list. Use the arrows to navigate between pages.

For details on any item, click the View icon next to the item.
